Kelly graduated from Southern Adventist University (Tennessee) in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. Over the next 10 years, she worked in a variety of healthcare settings. Kelly spent her last four years as a nurse working in intensive care.

Kelly transitioned from nursing into the field of physical therapy upon graduation with her doctorate degree from Slippery Rock University (Pennsylvania) in 2001.

After working in the Pittsburgh, PA area for almost two years, Kelly returned home to her native state of Louisiana, joining our team in 2002.

Since graduating from physical therapy school, Kelly has pursued advanced studies in myofascial release, functional manual therapy and McKenzie’s mechanical approach to assessment and treatment of the back.

In addition to her knowledge in these areas, Kelly has also served as a Pilates instructor.

Kelly is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Her hobbies include gardening, hiking, biking and traveling.

“I have long had a strong interest in exercise and nutrition and how these two factors can improve one’s overall health and wellness. Physical therapy encompasses these values and has been integral in my personal journey towards health and fitness. The body has an amazing ability to heal itself. Even small changes in lifestyle can effect a large improvement in an individual’s life. I am delighted to be a part of this healing process and participate in my clients’ individual journeys toward a healthier life!”
